Do I Have a Case for Domestic Violence?

A petition for permanent protection – a Petition for Injunction for Protection Against Domestic Violence – can be filed.
These petitions have the power to:
- Assign temporary custody of your children to you

- Require your abuser to get court-ordered counseling
